Dutch Business Club Marbella looks to 2006

Hendrik Baay, President of the Dutch Business Club of Marbella, welcomed members and guests with a toast at the year's first gathering at Hotel Los Monteros this January. Mr. Baay looked back upon a fruitful year and outlined the Dutch Business Club's plans and events for 2006, which include a discourse in April on global business and investment trends by Dutch stock exchange guru Rienk Kamer, continued collaboration with the ACM (Asociación Cultural de Marbella) and such social highlights as the annual Dutch Herring Feast, held in June at Hotel Puente Romana's Plaza Romana. "In 2006, we wish to continue to grow and develop into a professional association," said Mr. Baay, "aimed at promoting and facilitating good business practice not only within the Dutch-speaking community on the Costa del Sol, but also beyond it."
